Editing a Draft Email

Updated October 5, 2026

Draft emails stay editable until they're sent. Every change is saved automatically as you type — there's no save button.

Edit a draft email

  1. Go to Communication → Emails.
  2. Click Draft to see your drafts (or Scheduled for emails waiting to go out).
  3. Click the email to open the editor.
  4. Make your changes. A "Saved" indicator confirms each change is stored.

The buttons in the top-right corner are Send now, Preview, and a More menu with Send later, Send test, Duplicate, Save as template, and Delete. See Sending an Email. A scheduled email shows Cancel schedule in place of Send now.

Change the sender information

Below the subject line, the From line shows who the email comes from and where replies go.

  1. Click Change on the From line.
  2. Edit the From name — the name recipients see in their inbox.
  3. Edit the Reply-to email — if a recipient replies, this is the address the reply goes to.

Both are pre-filled with the name and email address from your profile.

Format your message

Write your message in the body area. The toolbar works like a word processor: bold, italic, underline, links, headings, alignment, quotes, and bulleted or numbered lists. The Signature field below the body is pre-filled with your default signature and can be edited per email. To add files, use the Attachments bar at the bottom — see Email Attachments.

Editing after sending

Once an email is queued or sent it can no longer be edited. To send an updated version:

  1. Open the sent email.
  2. Click the dropdown next to Preview and choose Duplicate.
  3. Click Copy in the Duplicate Email confirmation.

A fresh draft opens with the same content, ready to edit and send.

Delete a draft

Open the draft, click More, and choose Delete. Only drafts can be deleted; sent emails can be archived instead.
