Email Signatures

Updated September 28, 2026

Your email signature appears at the bottom of every email you send from TeachHero, so families always know who the message is from. Set it once and every new email starts with it — you can still tweak it on any individual email.

Note: Signatures are personal. Each admin and teacher sets their own, and it only applies to emails they send.

Set your default signature

  1. Admins: in the sidebar, click Settings, then the Personal profile tab. Teachers: click your avatar in the top-right corner, then My profile.
  2. Open the Contact tab.
  3. Scroll to the Email Signature section.
  4. Enter your signature. You can format it with bold, italics, links, and lists.
  5. Click Save changes.

Where your signature is used

  • New emails — every email you start is pre-filled with your default signature.
  • Email templates — when you create a template, its Email signature field starts from your default. The template keeps its own copy, so changing your default later doesn't change existing templates.
  • Delivered emails — recipients see the signature below your message.

Change the signature on one email

Every draft email has a Signature field below the message body.

  1. Open the draft email.
  2. Edit the Signature field. Changes are saved automatically.

Editing the signature on a draft only affects that email — your default stays the same.
