Three plans by school size, and every feature is in every plan. Small is $89/month (or $890/year) for up to 75 actively enrolled students. Growing is $169/month (or $1,690/year) for 76–150 students. Established is $279/month (or $2,790/year) for 151–300 students. Schools with more than 300 students get Scale, a custom annual plan. Annual billing saves you two months.

Everything: enrollment, tuition billing, the parent portal, your school website, secure messaging, unlimited email to families, attendance, classwork with lessons, homework, and a gradebook, volunteer management, teacher accounts, and QuickBooks and Google Classroom sync. Every plan also comes with email support and onboarding assistance. Text Alerts is the only optional add-on.

Yes. Request a free trial and we'll set up your school and email you an invitation. Your trial includes every feature, Text Alerts too, and there's no credit card to start your trial. When you're ready, choose a plan from inside the app.

It's a first-year offer for schools we'd like to build alongside. Apply with the form on this page, and we'll reply by email. Approved schools pay $29/month for their first year with every feature included, then move to the plan that fits their school.

Only actively enrolled students count toward your plan. Inactive students, alumni, applicants, and prospects do not — there is no limit on those, so your historical records never inflate your bill.

Each plan covers a range of actively enrolled students. At the top of your range, new enrollments pause until you move up a plan, which you can do anytime under Settings → Subscription. Schools above 300 students move to Scale.

Yes, from Settings → Subscription. Moving up takes effect right away. Moving down needs your actively enrolled students to fit the smaller plan. Stripe prorates the difference.

Monthly plans are month-to-month — no contract and no cancellation fees, cancel anytime from inside the app. Annual plans are billed once a year, and Scale is a fixed annual plan.

Families pay through your school's own Stripe account. Cards cost 3.2% + 30¢ and ACH bank transfers cost 0.8% + $1, capped at $6. That is Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH) plus a small TeachHero platform fee (0.3% on cards, a flat $1 per ACH payment). One published rate, no hidden fees. Scale schools get lower rates: 0.15% on cards and $0.50 per ACH payment. Where local rules allow, you can pass the processing fee on to families at checkout, or absorb it. Recording checks and cash is always free.

There is one optional add-on: Text Alerts (SMS), a flat $15/month, billed monthly only. Classwork — lessons, gradebook, and homework — is included in every plan at no extra charge. On Scale, Text Alerts can be written into your contract.

Families can pay online by card or ACH bank transfer, and your office can record checks, cash, and Venmo in the same ledger — so every payment lands in one place. That works the same on every plan.

Every plan includes email support and done-for-you onboarding: our team imports your school's data and sets up your parent portal, free (a $499 value). Scale schools also get priority support.

Your data remains yours. You can export it before cancelling, and after an account deletion request data is retained for 30 days and then securely removed from our systems.
