You can share files with recipients by attaching them to an email. Instead of stuffing files into the message itself, TeachHero adds a View attachments button to the delivered email — recipients click it to open a page where they can see and download every attachment.
Attach files to an email
At the bottom of the draft editor is the Attachments bar.
- Open the draft email.
- Click Attach files. A panel slides in from the right with two tabs: My files (your files library) and Shared with me (files colleagues have shared with you).
- To reuse a file you've uploaded before, find it in My files — open folders or use Search files — and click it to select it. To use a file a colleague shared, open Shared with me.
- To attach something new, stay on My files and click Upload files, then:
- Drop your files into the upload area, or browse to them on your device. You can add up to 20 files at a time.
- Click Add files. The new files are saved to your files library and selected for you.
- Click Attach files. The button shows how many files are selected, for example Attach files (3).
The attached files appear in the Attachments bar with their file sizes.
Note: Video and audio files cannot be uploaded. Each file can be up to 200 MB. Files you upload are saved to your files library, so you can attach them to future emails from My files.
Remove an attachment
Click the × next to the attachment's name in the Attachments bar.
What recipients see
The delivered email shows your message with a View attachments button beneath it. Clicking it opens a page in the recipient's browser listing all attachments, where each one can be viewed or downloaded.
