Upcoming: Simpler Payment Plans Are Coming

We're redesigning how payment plans work in TeachHero — and it's going to save you time.

What's Changing

Payment plans will live on the student balance, not individual invoices. Instead of attaching payment plans to every invoice, you'll manage one payment plan per student. All their charges roll up automatically.

Here's the full list:

• Payment plans move to student balances. One place to manage installments across all invoices for a student.
• Plans are set per Schedule only. No more assigning plans to individual programs and classes.
• New option: exclude specific fees from plans. Registration fees, materials, or anything else you want paid upfront — mark it excluded.
• New option: exclude entire invoices from plans. Useful for one-time charges that shouldn't be split into installments.

• Parents see one clear payment schedule.
• You stop juggling invoice-by-invoice plan assignments.
• Everyone's on the same page.
